retries

The retries parameter sets the number of times a UDP backend retransmits a request after the configured timeout expires. The default is 2.

This parameter does not cause retransmission on an open TCP or TLS connection. RADIUS over a reliable transport must not retransmit a request on the same connection. Backend connection and server selection handle reliable transport failures.
