Radiator Server Documentation — v10.34.2
Discarding Diameter duplicate request whose replayed answer exceeds the message size limit
A retransmitted Diameter request was dropped because its replayed answer would exceed the maximum message size.
Emission
Log level: DEBUG
Per-request tracing: No
Promotion: WARN
Logged when a retransmission of an already answered request arrives with more Proxy-Info than the original, and the retained answer rebuilt with that Proxy-Info, diameter_answer_length, would exceed maximum_message_size. Radiator drops the retransmission without repeating the request's side effects; the connection stays open.
Check which agents add Proxy-Info to the logged peer's retransmissions. If the answers are legitimately this large, raise maximum_message_size in the Diameter server's resource limits.
