Radiator Server Documentation — v10.34.2

Emission

Log level: DEBUG

Per-request tracing: No

Promotion: WARN

Logged when a peer sends a request on an Open connection whose framing is valid but whose contents are not: an AVP with an invalid length, a missing or invalid Origin-Host, a DWR or DPR that fails validation, or a CER that fails validation. Radiator answers the request with diameter_result_code, normally 5014 (DIAMETER_INVALID_AVP_LENGTH), 5005 (DIAMETER_MISSING_AVP), 5004 (DIAMETER_INVALID_AVP_VALUE), or 5012 (DIAMETER_UNABLE_TO_COMPLY), with the offending AVP as Failed-AVP where the protocol defines one, and keeps the connection open. A CER is answered with a CEA that carries the same Result-Code.

Check the attached error and the logged identifiers against the peer's request, and correct the peer's message encoding.
