Radiator Server Documentation — v10.34.2
Fixed socket bind overlaps the ephemeral port range
A fixed local socket port is inside the operating system's ephemeral port range.
Emission
Log level: WARN
Per-request tracing: No
Logged when Radiator binds an explicitly configured local TCP or UDP port that falls inside the
Linux network namespace's ip_local_port_range and is not listed in ip_local_reserved_ports.
The operating system assigns ports from this range to outgoing connections, so any of them can be
in use when Radiator starts or reloads its configuration. The bind then fails at random, depending
on which ports happen to be in use at that moment. The bind is still attempted.
Move the port out of the logged ephemeral port range. The local_addr and transport fields
identify the endpoint.
