Radiator Server Documentation — v10.34.2
Diameter connection terminated after a peer protocol failure
A Diameter connection ended after a peer protocol failure.
Emission
Log level: DEBUG
Per-request tracing: No
Promotion: WARN
Logged when Radiator closes an Open Diameter connection because the peer broke the protocol in a way that cannot be answered on the connection: the watchdog was not answered for two intervals, the DPA did not arrive in time while stopping or reloading the server, or a DWR, DPR, or CER named another Origin-Host or Origin-Realm than the authenticated peer. A stream that can no longer be framed is logged as an I/O or framing error instead.
Check the attached error. For watchdog failures, check the peer's load and the network path; for identity mismatches, check the peer's Origin-Host and Origin-Realm configuration.
